What information do we collect?

To sign-up for Mokumax we will need your email address. In addition, you will need to associate your social networking account with your Mokumax account. If you associate more than one account with your Mokumax account we will need your billing information which may include but is not limited to your address, city, state, country, telephone, etc. All data is stored in a highly secure data center that is PCI compliant. We also track web statistics including but not limited to the browser being used, the IP that the requests come from, date and time of visit, operating system, etc.

Why do we collect your information and what do we use it for?

Quite simply we use the data to serve you. Your information is required so that you can use the functionality of Mokumax. In addition, we also may use your info to improve and maintain the systems, for research and development, website traffic analysis, and/or for advertiser aggregated data. When you associate a social network account with Mokumax you are allowing us to use your data. (Hence, the "allow" or "deny" when you authorize from Twitter.) All data is kept securely in our trusted third party hosting providers data centers. The information we collect can be used to prevent duplicate or suspended accounts from registering again. It can also be used to customize your experience with Mokumax such as time of last visit, account order, and time zone. The bottom line is that we handle your information with as much care as we handle our own. We are not just running Mokumax but we are also using it everyday!
